A documentary that opens an important discussion surrounding the definition and evolution of community, and what happens when the ideal paradise people have in their mind clashes with the bitter truth of human complexity. 

What are queer people, already outcasts in society, meant to do when their safe space ceases to be safe? When they start to question and condemn their ‘leader’ while refusing to take the lead themselves? When the rest of the world doesn’t care to provide the help and resources needed? When in-fighting tears their community apart?

Director Chris Coat lets the documentary speak for itself: community is not optional. If it breaks down, you pick up the pieces and try again, and you keep building until it sticks. Because the alternative never has, and never will be, an option.
