What a feast of two episodes, at the edge of my seat the entire time only to drop the twist right when we’re leaving. As it should be.

The Listeners is very deceptive, for reasons that will become obvious when you see the second episode, but for the first two episodes you will be both terrified and fascinated. This is not a scary show, rather a sinister one. Come for the amazing performance by Rebecca Hall, stay for an entirely new, quieter but still effortlessly beautiful side of the Janicza Bravo sensibility.

This is going to be a fan favourite for all who enjoy the artists involved, and everyone who enjoys a good mystery, and…may I say… the true crime girls? The Netflix Documentary girls?

I’ve said too much.
