In a whirlwind blurring fact and fiction, Prospect House grapples with the very concept of History and Storytelling. What can we know, what can we guess - and who gets to guess?

Through the lens of a House on the brink of demolition, a team of re-enacters seek to save it, and in the process, construct a bit of history. ‘Construct’ is the operative word here.

This is a fantastically well made film, and I can only imagine required an absolutely airtight script. You may get lost at some points, but the gist of the thing, much like real history, will guide you through any rough patches. The performances are pitch perfect and incredibly well handled.

This one is for the cosplayers and the nerds.

With thanks to the Irish Film Festival, London for bringing this film to us!
